We can help with any and all elements of children's learning from ages 3-14 however, our tutors have all completed degrees in a subject that they are passionate about and so love to support GSCE, AS and A-Level specific subjects too. The subjects that we can help with vary according to tutor's specialisms so please do ask about these.
The time we spend with your child usually follows a tutorial structure that works in alignment with the goals set out in the British National Curriculum, Early Years Foundation Stage or a subject's exam board. We have carefully created programs that target each of these goals, to ensure that we are providing support that really does what it ought to.
Sessions may also be play or socially focused, with less emphasis on curriculum, however, we still keep children's developmental goals in mind and work towards these; we're focused on child development and actively guide your child through these stages.

HOME SCHOOL SUPPORT
The decision to home school your child is a huge one to think through and to turn into a reality. There are so many elements to consider and demands on you, the parents. Our vast breadth of experience - in schools, delivering home education, building curriculums and teaching all ages - means that we can really help you through the decision-making stages, getting going and once you're up-and-running.

Should You Home-School?

This is such a tricky question; there are, of course, positive and negatives to home-schooling, as with any truly challenging decision. We can work through your thoughts with you as well as point you towards other points that you may not have thought of yet. These consultations usually constitute a number of discussions, via email, phone or face-to-face which are charged at £80 per 45minutes.
Getting Prepared

If you've made the decision to go ahead and are starting to get paperwork and resources together, we can help. There are a number of elements that you'll likely be thinking about at this stage: Legal Requirements, Curriculum & Timetable, Activity Planning & Resources, Cost etc. We can help you navigate all this preparation efficiently and painlessly, either by helping you create your own programs or by sharing ours. Consultations may be one-off or on an ad-hoc basis and are charged at £150 for an hour's discussion and written report with recommendations.
Ad-Hoc Consultations

I can talk through any issues that come up at any point in your home schooling journey, so you never have to feel alone. These consultations include an hour long meeting with a written report being sent and cost £150 per hour.
Child Assessments

If you would like a professional opinion about how your child is getting along, we can meet and give an assessment. These cost £100 for an hour's meeting and a written report with recommendations.
Half-Termly Planning Packages

We can send you all the planning you'll ever need for English, Maths and Science: After an initial consultation where a timetable and curriculum is agreed, we will send you, at the beginning of every half term, a program of planning documents and printable activities, along with recommendations for optional purchasable resources (books, toys etc). This has an initial fee of £75 and is then charged at £15 per lesson per half term, according to the timetable adopted.
